Where In The World Is Meville?

Currently located in Knoxville, TN, Meville is the little town I created a while back when I came to the realization of how truly selfish I was. Not so selfish that I wouldn’t share the last of my brownie with a friend, but selfish enough so that I would try to hide the fact that I have a brownie in the first place. Anyway, rather than wallow in self-disgust over this revelation, I chose to embrace it and celebrate it by creating my very own town dedicated to me. Not only am I Meville’s mayor, but I also hold the positions of sheriff, treasurer, town gossip, criminal, jet-setter, judge (very convenient, BTW), gutter slut, and a few other slightly shady and unmentionable characters. With a town motto of “Welcome to Meville …what’d you bring me?”and a mantra of “Me first, me first, me, me, me!”, how can I lose?

Now that you think I’m completely out of my mind, I can tell you what you’ve probably already guessed . . . I can be slightly childish (hence the selfishness). But hey, at least I’m honest. Besides, I actually like the fact that I’m like that because it has led me to where I am now. And I’ve had a great life so far! In fact, my selfishness was directly responsible for wildly attracting another self-absorbed being, Mr Favorite. After much wooing, he was invited to set up permanent residence in Meville. But that’s another post for another time . . .

Well, Meville’s town folks have been experiencing an extreme slow down in their self indulgent antics due to the recent arrival of a certain baby. A wonderful 4 month old baby that has completely changed the going-ons of the town. A new motto is in the works - will keep you posted.
